Every time I think we have received everyone who wants to become a member or be baptized
someone else asks me about it! What a wonderful problem for a church pastor to have! Since
May 15 is Pentecost it’s a wonderful time to celebrate the spirits presence in our midst through
an invitation to be baptized. We have a high school student who has expressed interest in baptism! If you’ve thought about baptism and would like to be included I’d love to include you! Feel free to chat with me at church, call or email.
This is the perfect time to consider baptism at Harmony Springs. The Waters are warm - literally. AGMC has been gracious enough to allow us to perform baptisms in their therapy pool inside the wellness center. If you've ever thought you'd be interested in baptism don't miss this opportunity. As Disciples of Christ we practice the heritage of full immersion baptism. Baptism is a public way for us to proclaim Christ in our lives. So many people find it both meaningful and transforming.
