On Sunday, March 15 we're cancelling church for a good reason! We'll maybe not cancelling - just deciding to be the church in addition to gathering for church.
The Goal is to show that we are a church that worships not just together on Sundays but with our actions all week long. Here are the details:
Meet at Green View Inn Senior Assisted Living located just down the road from AGMC at 4000 Massillon Rd. Green/Uniontown, OH 44685 at the normal 10:30 AM time. They have graciously allowed us to use their space to gather, sing a song and receive communion. After this you’ll be free to join a mission team to worship in the community through service. Wear your Harmony Springs shirt (we have more at the church office if you need) and join a team!
Our teams include:
Hymn sing at Green View Inn team
Leader: Debbie MacDonald
The residents will join this mission team around 10:45-11 AM to sing with us. If you have vocal talent this is the group for you but all are welcome to sing. For this mission team there is no leaving you stay right where we already are.
Community Clean up team
Leaders: Debi and Tom Benjamin
This group is working with the city to locate a place to do grounds cleanup. If you’d like to join this group wear comfortable shoes and/or clothing.
Appreciate the Workers team
Leaders: Sheryl and Greg Blanchard
This group will be taking around baked goods and a card with our thanks to the people who work on Sundays: Starbucks Baristas, Target Clerks, AGMC desk workers, and grocery store cashiers.
It would help us to plan to know who to expect on each team. Signup for a team at church the next two Sundays or online.
