SPLENDOR – which stands for Spiritual Life, Ethics and Nature, Deepening Our Reverence – is GreenFaith’s interfaith adult education curriculum that introduces participants to the relationship between religion and the earth.

SPLENDOR consists of four sessions, focused around GreenFaith's core mission areas of Spirit, Stewardship and Justice:

April 26: Spirit: Write about and discuss a spiritual experience in nature.

May 3: Stewardship: Take an ecological footprint quiz to analyze the environmental impact of consumption, and commit to changes in consumption habits.

May 10: Justice: Learn about the impact of environmental degradation on at-risk communities.

May 17: Session four: Recap & Discussion

"I experienced Splendor as eco-faith community building. To share thoughts of creation with twenty people, in a house of prayer, served as a sign to me that 'in God's house there are many mansions with solar panels. And we know the way to that place.' "

–Pastor Seth Kaper-Dale, Reformed Church of Highland Park, SPLENDOR participant
